“Churro” and her puppies were rescued by Dusty Paws Dog Rescue
Churro is a beautiful girl who was rescued while she was heavily pregnant. Within two weeks of coming into care at Dusty Paws Dog Rescue she gave birth to 12 beautiful pups. Sweet Churro had a few medical issues after giving birth but with lots of special care she recovered well. Her little puppies were all adopted and Churro’s foster carer fell in love and decided to keep her! Churro is safe and loving life in her forever home.
“Muscle & Brooke” - saved by Hunter Valley Animal Facility and Rehoming Centre (HVAFARC)
Four little puppies were surrendered at a local vet clinic and taken in by Muswellbrook Pound. At only two days old, the tiny puppies desperately needed special care. The team at HVAFARC took in the babies and nursed them every two hours. Despite their best efforts, only one boy and girl survived. In honour of the team at the pound who stepped in to save them, they were named Muscle & Brooke. The two beautiful pups thrived in care and were adopted by loving families.
“Dotty” was saved by Staffy and Bully Breed Rescue (SABBR)
Dotty, a 13-week-old Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff), was surrendered to a vet clinic with a badly injured leg that required amputation to save her life. Staffy and Bully Breed Rescue provided the critical treatment and surgery she needed to survive. After her surgery, Dotty was placed with a loving foster family who happily accommodated Dotty’s recovery and special needs. Having 3 legs doesn't slow her down, she is very playful and loves family life. Dotty has since been adopted by her foster family who couldn’t part ways with her
