Mandy Briggs and her family recently adopted a domestic long-hair cat, Cordella, who is now a central part of their family!
“My partner and I decided we wanted our one-year-old son to grow up with a pet,” says Mandy.
“When we saw Cordella (whom we now call Lilly because it’s easier for our little man to say!) online, we took a drive to the adoption centre to see how she would react to our son. We fell in love, brought her home and she and our son are best of friends.
“She puts up with so much from him and just keeps going back for more. She mothers him like he is her baby and follows him everywhere he goes. Sometimes she even plays peek-a-boo with him. It was the best decision we have made this year and she is by far the best cat we have ever had!”
