A protein powerhouse recipe designed to suit a cat's primal ancestry, each bite is packed with a high concentration of quality animal protein as seen by deboned turkey, deboned chicken, chicken meal, whitefish meal and herring meal being the first 5 ingredients of this recipe. This unique, grain-free, filler-free food provides everything your cat needs to thrive whilst feeding them how nature intended.

Made with high quality natural ingredients, real vegetables and a proprietary blend of botanicals and nutritional supplements including antioxidants, cranberries for urinary health, omega fatty acids, prebiotics and probiotics, Core is a complete and balanced diet that contains all the bells and whistles you would expect from a Superior Premium Natural Diet. In addition to the ingredients that Wellness Core includes, what makes Wellness Core different to other brands is what they leave out.

Every recipe in Wellness Core contains no grain, corn, soy, wheat-gluten or artificial preservatives, colours or flavours making ita naturally hypoallergenic recipe and suitable for sensitive cats. Whilst every diet is grain free, Wellness Core does grain free the right way and also reduces the total amount of carbohdrates so that every cat can get more of the good stuff making it a better grain free choice for everyday feeding and one where as a result you will see the visible difference in your cat's skin and coat, energy levels and stools.

    • Hannah says... Although this is on the higher side of price is you really do care about your cat's diet you won't mind spending a little extra, this food is amazing and my little Woody adores it, it has taken him about 3 months to get through the 2.7kg bag which i don't think is to bad, i do wish they stocked a bigger bag of this one though. highly recommend this food to anyone.

    • Wayne says... I don't believe in feeding cats dry food, but my boy gets a little Wellness CORE Original every day. This is by far the best dry cat food on the market. The only one where the first FOUR ingredients are actually meat and the first two are fresh chicken and turkey. If that's not enough, the sixth ingredient is meat as well! Absolutely nothing that a cat shouldn't eat, unlike most others. Even though I'm not a dry food fan because cats don't have a strong thirst drive and naturally get most of their water from their prey, I confidently give Loki a little of this each day as an adjunct to his normal diet of wet food, because it's excellent quality and, importantly, it contains live probiotics which are so important if a can is on a diet of canned food, which is sterile, containing no essential bacteria. FIVE STARS, no hesitation.

    • Damian says... Pricey, but top quality cat food. I've been on a crusade to wean my cats from supermarket cat foods. Tried four expensive but nutritious foods so far, and this is their current favourite.

    • Paulette says... My cat had some kind of intolerance to rice, so I switched to this food and really never looked back! It makes his coat so glossy and silky smooth. His eliminations has a muted smell and he passes it easily. I do supplement with wet food, no grain. It is also very economical as I don't have to give him as much as the other brands that use grain to fill.

    • Jenna says... This is one of the only dry cat foods on the site that does not contain wheat, grain or rice (all fillers - no nutritional value for cats) and has protein as 6 out of the 7 top ingredients. Great to see no by-products as well. Quite sad to see what the other companies are putting in their food.

    • Lily says... The food is abit pricey but rightly so, as it is grain free and packed with protein. Using no meat by products is also a big plus. The food keeps my cat really healthy and I've never had trouble keeping weight on her. If you are looking for top quality cat food look over here.
