Supporting pets like Charlie with RSPCA

Charlie was found alone in a park, with a heartbreaking note attached to his collar. It said that his owners, facing a dangerous situation, had to leave him behind for his and their safety. Charlie initially struggled at the RSPCA Brisbane shelter. But now, thanks to staff and his foster parents, Andrew and Michelle, Charlie is learning how to be loved while he waits for his forever home.

Giving Reginald (Leo) a second chance at love with ARCH

At the shelter, 13-year-old Reginald was always overlooked in favor of younger cats. With deteriorating health, hope seemed distant – until Animal Rescue Coffs Harbour came to help. Reginald’s future brightened with care and medication made possible by Petbarn Tree of Hope Foundation funding, and before long, he found a home. His new family named him Leo, to match his resilience, and he quickly became a beloved member of the family. His new mum cherishes every morning cuddle, proving that adopting a senior animal is just as magical as adopting younger.

Leo’s story is a testament to the life-changing impact of ARCH’s work – giving animals a second chance at happiness.

Funding Therapy Dogs to help people in need with Empower

The Petbarn Foundation has funded 7 Empower Assistance Therapy Dogs to positively impact people across Australia. Just take Biscuit, the beloved support dog at Loganlea State High School, who has transformed students' mental health. Her calming presence brings real joy, and she plays a crucial role in helping students manage emotions and tough conversations. She even encourages positive behavior, through clean-up initiatives like "Bin it for Biscuit."

From one-on-one support to participating in classes, Biscuit is a vital part of the school’s nurturing environment.
