This Christmas the Petbarn Foundation aims to raise $1.3 million to help thousands of people and pets in need across Australia. The Petbarn Foundation Tree of Hope Appeal 2023 will support 70 pet-related charities across Australia. Visit your local Petbarn store or Greencross Vets clinic and donate a little love to pets in need.

Supporting pets like “Jurgen” with Animal Rescue Cooperative
Animal Rescue Cooperative (ARC) is a charity that supports local communities, animal related rescues and vulnerable pet owners through the distribution of vital pet food and supplies. ARC shared Jurgen’s story…
“Jurgen lives on the streets of South Australia, together with his Dad. Winter in South Australia can be pretty harsh on the street, so it was a wonderful occasion when his owner received a donation of blankets, Greenies Dental Treats and nourishing dog food through the Animal Rescue Cooperative Outreach Support Program, with thanks to donations from the Petbarn Foundation.”

Supporting Community Outreach Programs with RSPCA
Petbarn Foundation supports RSPCA Victoria with community outreach programs, desexing initiatives and shelter programs that assist in rehoming abandoned cats like Clementine.
“Clementine was a stray cat in her senior years with special needs. After adopting her and bringing her home, we were pleasantly surprised when Clem began to come out of her shell, she has been an absolute pleasure. Adopting an older cat has been an incredibly fulfilling experience for our family. She’s brought a lot of joy, laughter and love.”
Funding Therapy Dogs to help people in need
The Petbarn Foundation has funded 7 Empower Assistance Therapy Dogs to make a positive difference to people in the community. “Triya” is one of these beautiful therapy dogs.
“Triya is the resident Empower Therapy Dog at the Wandi Nerida facility in Queensland. Triya provides emotional support to people receiving recovery treatment from eating disorders. She has been in her therapy dog role for over a year now, and is interacting so well with the participants.”
