Sydney

Kawa café

Where: 348 Crown St, Surry Hills

Set in Sydney’s Surry Hills on the edge of the CBD, Kawa is a dog-friendly café that looks a little bit like your own living room. Positioned on popular Crown St, the café encompasses an outside setting that spills onto the footpath. It’s the perfect spot in the sun to share some downtime with your pup.

Cuckoo Callay

Where: Newtown Railway station, 324A King St, Newtown

This eccentric café in Newtown is a real treasure to people and dogs alike. Not only do they provide a delicious and diverse menu complemented by a large space for roaming, but they also accommodate for our four-legged friends with house-made gourmet dog treats and “Pupachinos” made of goat’s milk.

Tall Short Espresso

A light-filled little coffee den that makes a perfect caffeine stop for Paddington commuters or those who like to linger with a morning paper and their best mate.

Brown Dog Café

Where: 54 Logan Rd, Woolloongabba

Not only does this semi-alfresco café have a delicious item on the menu titled Dog Breakfast (scrambled eggs, haloumi, avocado, roma tomato and spinach) it also has designated outside spots to park your pup.

Dark Horse on the Brit

Where: 22 Britannia Mall, Mitcham

This popular café has an admirable attitude towards man’s best mate. They’re pro-children here, too, so the entire family is welcome!

Flying Duck Hotel

Where: 67 Bendigo St, Prahran

Fancy taking your dog out for a night out on the town? Lucky for you and your pet, the Flying Duck Hotel have whole nights dedicated to your dog’s happiness. Mondays at the Flying Duck hotel are officially dog night, also known as Mad Dog Monday.

Burns Beach Café

Where: 34 Ocean Parade, Iluka

Check into this casual café near the waterfront for a relaxed atmosphere, water views and even a special menu for dogs! There are plenty of options for humans too, including great organic coffee.

The Wild Fig Cafe

Where: 21 Ocean Drive, South Fremantle

Located on the beach, this café has a bit more of a casual setting dogs are obviously welcome. During the weekdays they offer free wi-fi to customers, which is a bonus for those who need to get some work done or for social media fiends who want to upload their favourite dog pics to Instagram.
