“This is Millie, my Maltese cross. Why did I get her? Well, I had a caravan down at Nowra for a while, but when I went down there by myself I was lonely. There was an old guy down there with a Maltese, and I could see the kinship that he had with his little dog. Every day she makes me laugh or smile, just the way she walks, or the way she barks. Her social life is all the shopkeepers around here. They all come out for a little pat – they mightn’t know me but they definitely know her by name! You’re certainly never alone when you have a dog around.” – Andrew with Millie and his Maltese terrier.
