Seeing Eye Dogs Australia (SEDA) has undertaken training for a new class of seeing-eye dog puppies. Meet the new SEDA crew who will go on to make their humans’ lives better.
Belle
Belle is a quick witted chocolate drop who loves to keep her SEDA carer and family entertained! She is very smart and picks up new skills very quickly. She is confident and loves to go out on adventure walks at the local park where the family takes a break. She has been out and about learning about the world every day.
Benji
Benji is a gentle and sensitive puppy. He is quiet and can be a bit hesitant with new things. He likes to be on his own but also likes to be with people.
Benson
Benson has become the apple of his SEDA carer’s eye! He is full of life and loves to play with his toys. When he has had enough he will take a toy and put himself to bed, where, he will recharge ready for his next adventure! He is a confident ray of sunshine keeping his carers amused. He loves visiting other family members because they cannot resist his charm!
Charlie
Charlie is a nice, calm pup. He likes to play with the other pups and also likes to interact with people. He has been happy and confident when going out on walks in new places.
Macy
Macy is similar to her brother Charlie. She is calm but also confident and likes getting out and about to explore the outside world. She is also very social with the other pups and people.
Milo
Milo is a relaxed, bright, biddable boy who has fit into his new family well. His new family consists of a mum, dad and 2 boys aged 5 & 2.5 years so there is plenty of sounds in all areas. He is great in the crate and being tethered in the office. He picks up routines quickly. He has already been to the kids football, the city and will be attending his first SEDA training day on Saturday.
Missy
Missy is very confident and into everything. She loves exploring. She can also be quite persistent when told not to do something but she loves to interact with people so should be easy to train.
Molly
Molly is a confident and alert puppy who loves to learn new things. She has amazed her SEDA carer by being so switched on and travels fantastically in the car when they go on their weekend drives exploring the countryside.
Oscar
Oscar is a cheeky and enthusiastic pup. He goes to his SEDA carers’ workplace every day and sleeps through big gatherings of 70+ people without even blinking an eye! He loves everybody he meets and is an eager student learning new things.
Willa
She is a very confident little girl who is settling in very well! She likes to explore and is very curious about everything. She’s a little cheeky and has lots of energy, but is also very quick to learn.
Tilly
Tilly is a confident pup who lives with a released SED and can push the boundaries with her. She loves the vets a little too much! She has been thoroughly socialised and is walking well on a lead. She is a bright, happy pup with a cheeky side.
Toby
Toby is a happy go lucky pup that appears confident in a variety of busy environments. He has slept through the night since day one and has great toileting behaviour (he is even asking to go outside to toilet now). He loves obedience training and trying to figure out new ways to hear the magical ‘yes’ word which means he has offered a behaviour that we like and will receive a treat.
Willow
Willow is a very good girl. Like Missy, she is also confident, she has already been to lots of places with her carer and nothing seems to faze her. She slept soundly right through, from the first night home.
Yogi
Yogi is a gentle, sensitive puppy. He follows his SEDA carer everywhere and will wait patiently for her. He is respectful with the other animals in the house. He likes to sit and take new things in when he goes to a new place.
