Yes. Hikari Micro Pellets are made suit most small-mouthed species including neon tetras, guppies, rasboras and dwarf gouramis. They sink slowly, giving fish of all swimming levels time to feed, and contain a balanced protein/fat ratio plus essential amino acids to support growth, colour and vitality.

How do I dose Hikari Cichlid Gold sinking pellets for my tank volume?

When dosing fish food, you use an amount that your fish can finish within minutes rather than a set amount per tank size.

Feed adult cichlids two to three times daily a quantity they can finish within two minutes. Always observe feeding behaviour and remove uneaten food after five minutes to maintain water quality.

Does Hikari fish food expire?

Every bag of Hikari fish food has a Best Before date printed on the packaging. Use the food up before this date and store it in an airtight container. Always check the pellets for signs of discolouration, mould, malodour before feeding.
