Standard Advantage formulations are designed exclusively for flea control. It does also help control lice.

A single pipette of Advantage provides up to four weeks of continuous flea protection. It begins working within hours of application, breaking the flea life cycle by killing adult fleas before they lay eggs. For best results, apply once every 30 days without skipping doses.

Advantage is approved for use on puppies and kittens from birth; however, it may not be necessary to treat them before weaning if their mother and other pets in the household are protected.  

Never use dog-specific formulas on cats or cat-specific formulas on dogs. Always follow the weight-range guidelines on the pack to ensure safety and efficacy.

1. Make sure your pet is completely dry.
2. Part your pet’s fur at the base of the neck to expose the skin.
3. Place the pipette tip directly on skin (not just on fur).
4. Squeeze the tube steadily to empty all the liquid onto that one spot.
