    • Lisa says... This crate has been a lifesaver after our puppy unexpectedly needed surgery followed by strict crate rest. I bought the size bigger than recommended as she is spending almost 24/7 in there. Coupled with a good ortho mattress she is very happy to be inside the crate most of the time. She can’t get out when unsupervised and it also folds up flat so we can take it when we go away (with the dogs). I wished it had wheels to begin with but it’s really not that difficult to pick up and move around the house so she can be near us. Love it! (I bought an aviary water bowl that screws on to the crate instead of the water bottles - not sure she’d manage to drink from a bottle like a guinea pig and she can’t knock it over)

    • Jackie says... Mr Darcy needed surgery for a torn ligament. Was told to restrict his movement for 2 months . I have three other critters who like to play pounce. What to do ??? Purchased the 800 crate online on Sunday. Rang Pet Barn early Monday morning, the day of his procedure. Explained the urgency. The crate was delivered @ 7.30am on Tuesday morning .My little boy comes home tomorrow .He will be in the same room as his hairy family. Won't be able to play pounce for a while. Excellent service.

    • Anna says... Bought this on the weekend for a foster puppy we have in our care and we are create training as we found it invaluable with our German Shepherd. There are cheaper creates on the internet, but from experience I can tell you that is exactly what they are, CHEAP. This create is perfect for create training. It has double doors so we are currently using the wider opening. Sturdy locks. Removable plastic floor that is easy to hose. A devider so that you can buy the right size create from the beginning and just move the devider as pup gets bigger. Its also powder coated, you don't see that to often. Its also easy to assemble and take down. All pluses. I strongly recommend create training for all dogs and you can't get a better product than this. Definitely worth the money.

    • Ashley Proctor says... Brought this to go caravanning with our 10 month old cattle dog. He loved it from the start. We purchased the 800 series which is larger than recommended but it gave him room to move. Easy to assemble well made. Very happy with our purchase.

    • Philippa says... Hey, these crates are pricey but I would not buy anything else unless the size was just not right for your application. Cheaper crates are just that - cheaper. You will get what you pay for. Cheap crates can have dodgy latches which can be a real pain if you are using the crate for CRATE GAMES where you need to open and close the door a lot. I have several of these crates and yes they are heavy to lug about but way worth it. If you are worried about the LOOK - the hammerstone finish is actually nice. Just throw over a coordinating polar fleece blanket or the like - and a lovely bed and they blend in absolutely fine. You can get canvas covers to fit to use outdoors to cut the wind. A great way to keep your pet safe and as a basis for all sorts of training - and not just as an adjunct to toilet training.

    • Nina says... This crate is really solid compared to other ones I've looked. Expensive but purchased during 20% + free shipping made it quite reasonable. I'm at piece of mind that my little dog won't be able to bend the bars or drag the crate around as it is heavy. Easy to assemble and pack down.

    • Paul says... I've had mine for nearly a year now, it's fantastic, I used it every day when I went to work, my kelpie had no problems inside, after a month or two I started letting him out of the crate when I went out for a few hours & gradually increased the time out until he stays all day while I am at work. I've also found it gat when going on holiday, fold it down & put it in the camper trailer or on the roof of my car & it's a safe, secure place for him to go when we're away. Some have commented on its mobility, it isn't designed to be mobile as such, if you want mobile go for a soft crate, it's designed to be a fixture in whatever room it's in, that's why you can get nice covers for them to dress them up a bit. Overall great product, well made, easy to fold & put back up again, only downside is as several have stated for what it is, it's pretty expensive but once you've bought one you won't need to buy one again it will last several dogs lifetimes if used properly. If it wasn't so expensive I'd get a second one slightly smaller so it would fit in the back of my wagon.
