Tree of Hope Colouring In Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The Promoter is Petbarn Pty Limited (ABN 72 001 802 759) of Level 2, 1 Epping Road, North Ryde NSW 2113, telephone 1300 655 896.

2. Eligibility

Entry is open to Australian residents of all ages. Entrants under 18 years must have parental or guardian consent.

3. Promotional Period

Entries open at 12:00am AEDT on 01/11/2025 and close at 11:59pm AEDT on 15/12/25.

4. How to Enter

To enter, individuals must:

a. Colour in the official Petbarn Foundation Tree of Hope colouring sheet.

b. Take a photo of their completed artwork.

c. Post the photo on Instagram or Facebook, tagging @Petbarn and including the hashtag #treeofhopeappeal.

5. Valid Entries

Entries must feature the official Tree of Hope colouring sheet and be original creations of the entrant (or their child, with consent). Incomplete, indecipherable, or offensive entries will be deemed invalid. Only one entry per person is permitted.

6. Judging

This promotion is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each valid entry will be individually judged based on creativity, originality, and festive theme.

Judging will take place at Level 2, 1 Epping Road, North Ryde NSW 2113, within seven (7) business days of the competition closing.

The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Prizes

There are five (5) prizes to be won, each consisting of a $100 Petbarn digital gift voucher. The total prize pool is valued at AUD $500. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

8. Winner Notification

Winners will be notified via direct message on the social media platform used to enter (Instagram or Facebook) within two (2) business days of judging.

If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within fourteen (14) days, the Promoter reserves the right to select a replacement winner.

Winning entries may be announced on Petbarn social media channels.

9. Use of Entries

By entering, participants grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, publish, and display their entry (including photographs) for promotional and marketing purposes in any media worldwide without compensation. Entrants consent to the Promoter modifying or adapting entries as required for promotional use.

10. Privacy

Personal information collected by the Promoter will be used for the purpose of conducting the promotion and awarding prizes, in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available at petbarn.com.au/privacy-policy.

11. Liability

Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.

12. General

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion at its discretion if it is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook OR Instagram. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook OR Instagram. The information an entrant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook OR Instagram. Facebook OR Instagram will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained by an entrant, as a result of participating in the promotion (including taking/use of a prize), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
